Spinach Feta Turkey Burgers


  • 1 lb lean ground turkey
  • 10oz box of frozen chopped spinach
  • 1 cup old fashioned oats
  • 2 large egg whites
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese

  • First, you need to thaw the ground turkey. A great way to thaw meat is by placing the package in a warm bowl of water. If your short on time you can also place the meat in the microwave.
  • Next, you need to thaw the spinach. You can thaw spinach in the microwave, and then drain the excess liquid. You want to get as much liquid out as possible, so try squeezing/wringing out the spinach as well. 
  • Mix all of the ingredients. It'll work best if you use your hands! Don't be afraid to get a little messy.

  • Next, use the meat mixture to form 8-9 patties. 
  • Grill until cooked through. It took me about 6-8 minutes on my George Foreman.
